Maintenance your 3CX prompts quick and easy

Maintenance your Prompts directly from within the JEDWare web app, without the need to give administrative access to your 3CX Server.

You can Record new Prompts, or change an existing prompt used by an IVR or Queue directly from within our app, without giving access to your 3CX Server, the Agent just needs to be in the right role in JEDWare, and your Prompt maintenance has been delegated.

We made the Change Prompt functionality based on input from our partners and customers, who was in need to change eg. IVR Prompts from time to time and typically in the middle of the night. So to prevent the need for a 3CX Administrator outside working hours, we made the Change Prompts a Do-It-Yourself solution.

Record or change prompts

You can record a new prompt or change to an existing prompt you have in your 3CX System.

Record a new prompt

You can record a brand new prompt for your queues and IVRs directly in the JEDWare web app. Simply choose what extension to change the prompt on and you will automatically receive a call, where you can record your new prompt. When the call has ended, we automatically add the prompt to your desired queue/IVR.

We do recommend that you create a short manuscript for your new speech.

Remember to click the Record Button and the extension selected will be called by the 3CX System, as normal when you are creating Prompts from within the 3CX System.

Change to another existing prompt

You can change the prompt of any queue/IVR at any time. Pick between all the prerecorded prompts on your 3CX system, simply by selecting the prompt in the dropdown menu. 

Remember to click the Update Button.
