Wallboard Layout 7 - Traditional Wallboard, with e-Mail function

About Wallboard Layout 7

Wallboard Layout 7 is JEDWare’s version of the traditional 3CX Switchboard, and very useful for eg. a receptionist.

On this wallboard, you are able to see all active calls, from the extensions you have chosen. Both inbound and outbound. You are also able to see which queue the incoming call has been answered in.

NOTE: The Wallboard will be reset if you refresh the page by eg <F5>

You can add as many extensions as you would like, as you will be able to scroll on the wallboard when you have more than 25 active calls displaying.

The wallboard is also available in dark-mode

At the top of the wallboard, you will see active calls.

At the bottom, you will see the latest calls.

Equal for both, is your ability to click on the email button, to ease sending a phone message to a colleague.

Wallboard Layout 7 settings

Display options

  • Show mail button adds an E-mail link to every call row that opens a pre-filled email with the call’s details, ready to send to a colleague.
  • Show old calls splits the board in two: active calls in the top half, the latest finished calls below.
  • Show wallboard message shows the text from the Wallboard message panel on the board.
  • Agent status update time sets how often the board refreshes, from 300 to 10000 milliseconds. On large systems with many queues and agents, raising it from 300 ms toward 5000 ms lowers the load on your 3CX server.

Press Save after changing settings.

Wallboard message

The message field puts a line of text at the bottom of the board: a weekly goal, a shout-out to the team, or any note you like. Emojis work too.

Reset schedule

The wallboard counts from its last reset. Reset sets the schedule: daily, weekly or monthly. Days picks the weekday or day of the month, and Time is the time of day the counters clear.

Reset wallboard now clears all data on the wallboard immediately.

Share the wallboard

Generate a public link and open it on any screen (a TV, an info display, a browser): the wallboard runs live without logging in.

The panel lists every link with when and by whom it was created. Treat a link like a password: anyone who has it can see the board, and you can delete it at any time to revoke access.

For creating wallboards and the settings shared by every layout, see How to create a wallboard.
