JEDWare shows No connection when the cloud cannot reach the integration on your 3CX server. The usual causes:
- The 3CX server was updated or restarted (the most common one).
- The JEDWare service is stopped.
- The 3CX certificate expired, is untrusted or self-signed.
- A firewall change blocks the JEDWare IP addresses. See Which IPs and ports is JEDWare using.
- The 3CX server is down.
First: restart the JEDWare service
Restart the JEDWare service. That fixes it in most cases.
If the restart does not help: check the Nginx include
A 3CX update can overwrite the Nginx configuration and drop the line that includes JEDWare. Put it back:
Debian
- Sign in as root and open /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/3cxpbx.
- Check that the last lines contain
include "/etc/nginx/jedware.conf";as in the picture. Add it if it is missing and save. - Restart Nginx, then JEDWare:
sudo systemctl restart nginx
sudo systemctl restart JEDWare
Windows
- In services.msc, stop 3CX PhoneSystem Nginx Server and JEDWare Integration.
- Open C:\Program Files\3CX Phone System\Bin\nginx\conf\nginx.conf in a text editor.
- Check that the end of the file contains
include jedware.conf;as in the picture. Add it if it is missing and save. - Start 3CX PhoneSystem Nginx Server, then JEDWare Integration.
Still no connection
Run the JEDWare installer again (Debian or Windows); it rewrites the configuration. If that does not help either, open a ticket as described in the JEDWare support procedure.
