Admin Settings

Admin Settings

Admin settings is where a JEDWare administrator shapes what the rest of the company sees. It has five pages in the left menu: General, Users, Roles, Phone system and Log. Users are invited with an email address and a role, and the invitation carries a link to set a password. Roles decide which features, wallboards, extensions, queues and departments a user may open, so a team leader sees their own team and nothing else.

Phone system holds the settings that come from 3CX and how JEDWare uses them: which queues, IVRs, ring groups and departments are visible in reports and wallboards, which extensions are hidden (test phones and hotdesk phones, for example), the call blocking settings, and Sync with 3CX for when a change in the 3CX admin console should show up right away. The Log page records who changed what.

Two settings every user controls for themselves are also documented here: the light or dark theme, switched in the user menu at the top right, and the personal time zone, so reports and call lists show local times.

The guides below cover adding users, user roles, visible queues and extensions, block settings, dark mode, the time zone, and the four-step Get started guide for a new installation.
